RDK Homes, founded in 1993, is a family owned residential building company specializing in single-family and condominium housing. It has established itself as one of the most well-respected builders in southeastern Michigan. 

The company is named after Robert D. Kime. Mr. Kime began his career in the building business in the mid-1970's with Pulte Homes, where he eventually became president of the Michigan division. He later (1982) was a cofounder of Kime Brothers and built residential housing for ten years in metropolitan Detroit with his brother, Curt. 

In 2006, RDK Homes entered the national scene by expanding into the middle Tennessee market. It's goals include further expansion into the Northern Alabama market as well.
